i have resisted until now making a comment on the absurd notion that one would quit drinking for a year. i mean, don't be so selfish! what if i come to london for a visit? are you not going to have a drink with me? sheesh.

I couldn't help but respond to the raspberry bit, very tasty indeed! They're tastier when you find them growing wild in the forest!

...on a seperate note, cookie, how is that at all selfish? If someone stops drinking, that just means there's more beer for *you* so in that regard it could be *you* that is selfish! And yes, if someone stops drinking, then uhhh yah I guess they won't have a drink with you! sheesh! ;-)

Ok where was I? Oh yah raspberries! YUM:)

26 years on my way to hell.

i have mainly stopped drinking for five years, and good lord, most people find it quite enjoyable. mainly in the fact that in the city in which i live, one travels mainly by car, as the city buses are horrid. so, they always have someone to drive them home after a good night with a few good pints. or bad ones. depends on one's taste.
