girlsdontcry's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LRB I just read something about an online dating agency signing a deal to give its members loyalty points. And really, that can't be right. Either it means the longer you're a member then the more points you get, which isn't really a good recommendation for the people you would meet on that dating website, or else it means that the more money you spend (and therefore the more people you contact?) the more you points you get. Which isn't right either! I noticed yesterday that a bloodhound's testicles are a really long way from his penis. This is not the case with male humans. In Australia, LRB is The Little River Band. But in London it's the London Review of Books. Cue gales of laughter when my friend who works as a book sales rep talks about LRB (I'm the only one laughing though). (LRB is also the Labour Relations Board in British Columbia and a radio station in Luxembourg. What is your favourite LRB?) You will definitely think that I'm making this up: You Are What You Eat (that's a programme about how you will die if you eat meat and sugar) is being sponsored by a PET FOOD COMPANY. 3:37 p.m. - 2006-02-20 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
