Hurrah for my (almost) unrelenting pessimism, I knew you would save me. Still, as you pointed out, it would've been nice to be really, really happy. Instead of right. I feel distinctly better today than I did yesterday when I arrived at the swimming pool only to be informed that I couldn't go swimming because the pool was shut, after a child had thrown up in the pool.
