girlsdontcry's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yum Saturday was marvellous, clearest blue skies and freezing cold. I went with two lovely lovely people first to the British Library, for inspiration (it's really so amazing the things that they have there). Then to a cafe so tiny and perfect and out of the way that only a true cafe aficionado could know about it. After that it was cold but wonderful wandering around the back streets of Bloomsbury, including a stop-off in this charming shop, where I was amazed to find a recipe for roasting hedgehog in this book (and do you know that she knows how to get a hedgehog's spines out (you bake it in clay and when you pull the clay off, the spines come with it). More wandering until we somehow ended up drinking red wine, and then to a restaurant I love for a dinner that did not feature any hedgehog whatsoever.
