girlsdontcry's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All the best for 2006 My theory is that everyone of a certain age spent so long fretting over what they were going to be doing with themselves on December 31, 1999 that no one has any energy to ever think about it again. So New Year's Eve now seems to be the least popular night of the year to go out. Although everyone IS going out, so it's really only that people pretend that they don't want to go out, just in case they don't end up having a good time and then they won't have to feel bad at least that they thought they would have a good time. And not that they don't actually want to go out. It's already new year in some parts of the world. I hope I have a good time. And I hope you do too. And as my email newsletter from Eurostar reminding me about the new European Health Insurance Card says, all the best for 2006. 12:13 p.m. - 2005-12-31 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
