I'd like to make a complaint

I write lots of stuff about moany people making stupid complaints about advertising. Usually the complaints are about ads being offensive or upsetting, or else the complaints are from stupid parents, like the hundreds that were made about an ad for KFC that they said would encourage their children to sing with their mouths full (so much easier to go find out who to complain to and go through the process of making a complaint than just telling your children "don't talk with your mouth full", no?)

But today is the best one ever: someone complained that a leaflet promoting a ballet called "Naked" was misleading because the performers in the ballet remained fully clothed, and also that it "contained no scenes of an adult nature, as stated on the leaflet". I wonder if the person who complained stormed out of the performance in high dudgeon, having stayed until the bitter end to see if eventually they took their clothes off. Or if they were taking the piss somewhat.

Sadly the complaint has been rejected but I'm off now to tell Tesco that actually, every little didn't help and I still went over my overdraft limit (and L'Oreal, it turns out that I'm NOT worth it, not even a 1.19 bottle of shampoo).
