How would Elmer Fudd say \"a short description of this entry\"?

Apparently the fabulous Google Toolbar (no more pop-ups, hurrah!) can be downloaded in a variety of languages including Bulgarian, Hacker, Pig Latin and Elmer Fudd (what language does he speak anyway?) You've got to love a nerd. I think Google will be tracking whoever downloads it in Pig Latin so we can all help them relive their high school days by laughing at them.

Nerds are often characterised by their fondness for attention to detail. They could probably have used a nerd or two on the set of Game of Death. I watched it yesterday in preparation for going to see Kill Bill today, and it just makes me laugh so much, the terrible doubles they use, who look nothing like him, and all the ways they try to avoid having his face show, like shooting in the dark, several shots just cut his head out altogether, having him covered in bandages and then the worst fake beard ever.

But also (and this is where the tenuous nerd link comes in), it has terrible continuity. For example, when Billy is fighting in the warehouse, then outside the warehouse, he's clearly wearing black underpants under the yellow suit (it's raining, it's really easy to see), and yet in the next scene, he's clearly wearing white underpants under the suit.

Also, there are disappearing and reappearing scars, that footprint that Kareem Abdul Jabbar leaves on Bruce Lee's chest seems to move and disappear from time to time etc..

As I didn't feel like watching all the extra features, though (not even the 40 minute edit of the famous pagoda fight!), can anyone tell me ... is that real footage of Bruce Lee's funeral and coffin in the middle of the film? OK, so I just decided not to be so lazy and look on Google, and it WAS his real funeral, and his coffin (with a close up of dead Bruce Lee's face too).

Um... did I have a point? Well, I saw some better films over the weekend: Auto Focus was really great, really interesting, and sensitive considering what it's about. And Solaris, which was also really interesting, it had... Themes, you know. Loss and desire, stuff like that. And I saw Amores Perros, which went on a bit long, in my opinion, although it had some great bits. My flatmate said you could have a great Amores Perros drinking game, where you'd drink every time there was a dead or maimed dog on the screen.

I'm listening to the radio and you know what? I love Germaine Greer, crazy lady that she may be.
