I need this

Last year my new year's resolution was to get a new job, and I didn't have one single job interview. Oh, wait, I did, but it was at the company I already work for. Then this year I decided to go freelance, so now I have a job interview today.

I am wishing now I'd prepared for it because already this morning I've had to listen to my boss being all gleeful about Ge0rge Gall0way's constituents complaining about him being in Big Brother AND how he's glad that Menzies Campbell will lead the Liberal Democrats because that will make fewer (obviously HE didn't say fewer) people vote for them, because he thinks that they are ridi... OH GOD I'M TOO ANNOYED AT HIM TO TYPE THE REST OF THE SENTENCE.

Ohmmm, I am channelling myself back to the sofa last night and my chicken soup with dumplings, comforting, restorative (ooh, I'm channelling Nigel Slater too) food.

It was the best chicken stock I've made.

Now I have to write a story about Loaded magazine, Abi Titmuss and an online casino. Fucking hell, please let me get this job.
