Seersucker

I spent much of last night watching, (largely in fast forward) the Live Aid DVD, which was interesting. Everyone in the 1980s is really thin. Except Alison Moyet, who is really not thin, and who appears to be wearing a set of stripy, seersucker sheets. Poor Alison.

Most of the men seemed to be sporting mullets of some description, and now I think that the Hoxton fin is the mullet of our times (possibly this has been thought before by someone else, I apologise if it seems like I'm stealing). Incidentally, if anyone (and it seems unlikely) is still labouring under the impression that a Hoxton fin is an acceptable haircut, then you may be interested to know that I saw a female Italian tourist in her sixties wearing one last week.

We had a press release from a company in Sheffield, claiming that they were based in SoYo, which appears to be their attempt to coin a trendy new media term. And, I mean, that sort of wankery even raises eyebrows in London, how do they think they're going to get away with it in South Yorkshire?
