girlsdontcry's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good things OK kids, here's a clue about getting on in the world and not having people think that you're a complete idiot... if someone you've never met before says "Hi, my name is ________", then don't just say "hi". See, they're not merely informing you of their name. They're expediting the exchange of valuable information for two people who are going to be sitting next to each other in an office all day (knowing that the chances of the social graces-challenged boss actually bothering to introduce them being nil). So, tell them your name back, and save them the effort of an eyeball roll and a shake of the head. I hate that these pages are filled with so much vitriol, but honestly, what are you to do if you come across people who eat Kit Kats the wrong way (with people from three continents agreeing with me on that subject) and so many complete and utter fools?
