girlsdontcry's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The truth is uncovered I'm trying to understand exactly what's going on in the song "Tempted" by Squeeze (you might know them as UK Squeeze). Because I assume it's the singer that's been tempted by the fruit of another, but then why is he asking "What's been going on since you've been gone?" Especially seeing as he's the one at the airport, doesn't that mean HE's the one who has gone? And by "since you've been gone" does he mean since the other person has gone away, or since the other person broke up with him? And why does he buy a flannel? (Don't say "for his face" unless you want a slap). I always struggle with understanding and interpreting song lyrics. Feel free to mock me. I discovered this week that my flatmate knows someone who has a thing for men who have a lazy eye. Isn't that curious? My flatmate is now convinced that she's only ever going to not be single if she finds her own niche in the market (along the lines of Men Who Have A Limp rather than Men Who Own An Italian Sports Car). How would you develop a thing for men with a lazy eye though? Not that there is anything wrong with lazy eyes. While you're pondering that question, why not take this survey?
